According To The Word Of The Lord…

When our time comes to meet our Maker, the Lord, our God, He will call us Home. We will not die until the Lord, Our God, says it’s time to die. It may be a horrific situation we find ourselves, but if we hold fast to our faith, keep our eyes on Jesus or the Lord says – “It’s not time…” then we are not going to die.

On the other hand, we could be at the top of health, in great physical condition and walking with the Lord every second of the day…and God calls us home.

So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. ~ Deuteronomy 34:5-7 KJB

Clarity of vision and health not failing, but the purpose, the task and the time had all been fulfilled. What if we saw our life in such simplistic terms? What if we looked to the Lord, followed Jesus Christ and spoke with the Holy Spirit on an ongoing basis? Would we see death in a different light, would we, in fact, not be able to walk in fear? Would fear fail the floor never to be an issue?

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses. ~ Deuteronomy 34:9 KJB

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
